What you’ll accomplish
Move a case through the dedicated status workflow and create landlord-visible timeline evidence. These instructions follow the supplied module’s live hooks, menus, controllers, forms, model rules and downstream effects.
Follow these steps
- Go to the case View page.
- Select Update Status.
- Select an active status.
- Enter the status note.
- Submit.
- Check the current-status panel, action-required badge, timeline, audit and email outcome.

Rules the system enforces
- The UI submits visible_to_landlord as 1 through a hidden field.
- The selected status supplies its label, landlord-action requirement and final-state flag.
